Other places you will visit are Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial), Jantar Mantar, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Residence of the President of India), Akshardham Temple (largest of its kinds), Lotus Temple, Chandni Chowk etc.

The beautiful monument located on the banks of Yamuna is indeed the best example of human craftsmanship. The beauty of Taj Mahal is so impressive that it has been included in 'Seven Wonders of the World' as well as '10 Must Visit Places in the World'. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nearby located is Agra Fort, another masterpiece created by Mughal Emperors. Originally the fort was created to serve as the capital of Mughal Empire, but today it serves like a museum and a popular tourist destination. You will have some time your hands that can be devoted in shopping around the streets of Agra and enjoying the delicious Mughalai cuisines. Agra is quite popular for handicrafts and marble artifacts. Day 3 (Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri): 250km approx

Located at a distance of 32km from Agra is the historic town of Fatehpur Sikri which was sometimes the seat of power for Mughal Dynasty. The town was planned and established by the greatest of Mughal Emperors Akbar. It served as the capital of Mughal Empire for over one-and-a-half decades, before it went to ruins due to a severe draught. However, the impressive monuments created during that era can still be found here.

Continue driving towards Jaipur and cover the 250km distance in around 5 hours. As soon as you enter Jaipur, your first encounter is with the Monkey Temple or Galta Temple located in outskirts of the town. Visit the temple and make a few friends in monkeys.
