Itinerary of Full-Day Taj Mahal & Fatehpur Sikri Tour from Agra
08:00 AM Pickup from Hotel or Railway Station in Agra.
Upon arrival at Agra Cantt Railway Station.
You will be met by our representative at the main exit gate; he will be carrying your name signage. After warm welcome you will be board your private AC Toyota Car and leave for refreshment at a 4 star Hotel where you can use the hotel wash rooms to get yourself refreshed before you start the tour in the meanwhile also meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby.
Adventure Begins with tour of world famous – Taj Mahal (A Unesco World Heritage Site). Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah-Jahan in the love of her wife Mumtaz Mahal. A beautiful building to explore for 02 hours long with tour guide with deep history of the monument and some amazing stands for photography. (Taj Mahal remain closed on every Friday).
11:00 PM - Visit the Massive Agra Fort. (A Unesco World Heritage Site)
Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D this huge fort is made up of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
12:30 PM - Lunch
You will have a Lunch in one of the best Local Restaurant or five star hotel in the town.
13:30 PM – Leave for Excursion to Fatehpur Sikri (A Unesco World Heritage Site) 01 Hour drive from Agra.
It has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town”. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century. The magnificent door of the monument welcomes you, and it has captured innumerable attractions to see. It was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day.
04:30 PM Local Handicrafts.
You may wish to enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts.
05:30 PM Drive to Delhi or Jaipur
By the time you will explore all these monuments the sun will be at its dawning position and the best time to see the beauty of the streets in the town.
Here comes to an end of a beautiful journey, you will be dropped at your desired location in Delhi or Jaipur around 09:00 Pm.
